What has been done in our name in this democracy
The following letter [original PDF] was drafted in the deliberation room recommending clemency for Majid Khan. Seven members of Mr. Khan’s eight-officer jury signed it, using their panel numbers. The jury was drawn from a pool of 20 active-duty officers who were brought to Guantánamo Bay on Oct. 27.
Khan clemency letter The letter is based upon a showing of Constitutional violations by U. S. government personnel and agents. "So very difficult a matter is it to trace and find out the truth of anything by history." -- Plutarch |
