Very sad news - passing of Dr. Blaine Houmes

Very sad to hear (and so sad he wasn't allowed to enjoy his retirement), I feel for his family. I second Joe, it was a pleasure to have met him. He had a great sense of humor, and he was a smart and brilliant talker at whatever he presented or discussed. As for his collection - one of my fondest memories is Mary Lincoln's veil which he once put in my hands to marvel at.
