The Fisher Murder case was also known as the Trailor Murder case, which is the last name of the man accused of the murder.
It's possibly the most unusual criminal cases Lincoln ever had. The case was so remarkable that Lincoln actually wrote an anonymous newspaper article about it, and the article can be read in The Collected Works of Abraham Lincoln, Volume 1, pp. 371-376.
