RE: Springfield Tour
If there's a window where it's safe to take take this tour, seize the moment! I am so fortunate to have booked last Fall's trip.
Earlier this week I was picking up the den when I came across goodies from the tour. I became absorbed in the collection of photos, Joe's itinerary and informational handouts along with brochures, pamphlets, maps, postcards, and ticket stubs. One moment I was in the den and the next I was in Springfield reliving those amazing three days. It was the best "stay at home" adventure. Gene, when we visited New Salem on the last tour there were some amazing quilts on display. Do you have any photos or information on them? Rob recently started an thread on quilting including some references to quilting during the Civil War https://rogerjnorton.com/LincolnDiscussi...l#pid81371 |
