My speech
For those of you who have 45 minutes that you never want to get back, I have attached a link to a speech I recently gave in Evansville, Ind., to the Tri-State Genealogical Society. My speech was titled "John E. Iglehart and the Lure of Local History." I first became aware of Iglehart through Tarbell.
To be honest I hesitated to put this link up. I really don't like giving speeches (which never stops me from accepting) and I'm never pleased with the result. This is also the first time I've attempted a PowerPoint presentation. I want the respect of intelligent men, but I will choose for myself the intelligent. --Carl Sandburg
