Fisher Murder case
From Benjamin Thomas's biograpy of Lincoln, (last page of Chpt 5)

"Lincoln sent Johnson one effort in prose, an account of the Fisher murder case in Springfield, in which, after a confession by one of three brothers named Trailer, who had allegedly committed the crime, the supposed victim turned up alive."

Does a copy of the prose exist, and is it on line?
Anyone know more details about this murder case?
So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?
