Another notable horse was Comanche. He was ridden into the Battle of the Little Big Horn by Capt Myles Keogh. He was the only survivor on the US Cavalry side. He was severely wounded but managed to live to the age of 29. He was stuffed and mounted and can be viewed at the University of Kansas.
