Grant and Sherman: The Friendship That Won the Civil War
Has anybody else read Charles Bracelen Flood's Grant and Sherman: The Friendship That Won the Civil War? I am several chapters into it, and I am enjoying it very much. (I could not find any other discussion of it on the forums.)
I have endured a great deal of ridicule without much malice; and have received a great deal of kindness, not quite free from ridicule. I am used to it. (Letter to James H. Hackett, November 2, 1863) |
