RE: Scary Wax JWB Shoots Lincoln in the Shower?!?
Welcome aboard, Miss Bellatrix!
I, as well as most of our forum members feel that history doesn't have to be boring and dull - one can have FUN with history as well! I'm very serious about my research and study - but I also love the "quirky" side of history too, as all of my colleagues will attest! Here is a "close up" of the rather scary scene which used to be at the Gettysburg Wax Museum - note the badly "aging" Booth figure! Most of the figures appear to be balding, etc.....as for Clara Harris - she appears to be wearing some sort of apron.... In the 1960s, Woodward and Lothrup in DC had a window display set up for the Civil War Centennial in which the assassination was recreated..... Go here to read the complete story: blog.fords.org/2015/05/01/lincoln-assassination-in-diorama/ … Gotta love Levitating Lincoln! I want a T-Shirt made out of this graphic.... And now for the ULTIMATE in Creepy -- want to own the original Disney Hall of Presidents Abe Lincoln Rubber Mask? It's pretty scary....as well as the price of about 4 grand! You can watch the mishap regarding Mr. Lincoln's Speech here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YF0j69pAM7g It's pretty funny.....
