The ceiling lights at the restaurant are made from Mason Jars, and there are Lincoln pennies worked into the floor.

Speaking of Lincoln pennies, I cleaned out a closet today and found a large (8" dia), clear glass, Lincoln penny paperweight that I had forgotten I had. I think I may have bought it in a shop at one of the glass companies in Ohio back in the 1970s.

Laurie, I hope you get a chance to eat there sometime. Tom and I met Scott Schroeder and his family there for dinner one night; the food was really good. And Tom ate there with Eva when they explored D.C. The best part was wandering to find how many different ways they incorporated Lincoln into the decor.

The Emancipation Punch serves 4-6 people, which makes the price a bit more reasonable (by comparison to their other drinks). We didn't try it. Maybe next time! Gail Carr (& Tom Bogar)
