I would guess it takes a lot of money to maintain that type of library. It may have needed some restoration and maintenence.
In Illinois, unfortunately, there is not much money for those types of projects.

And regarding cookies, I'm not picky, as long as they are chocolat chip.
So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?
