First, I am glad to see Ed honored for his work in the world of Lincoln studies. As just one of a number of people who has benefitted from Ed's kindness and support, I think the honor is long overdue. You are a true inspiration for those of us in the field, Ed.

If I can, however, pick just one nit on the story....I didn't know Lincoln was shot on November 18 (copy editing in newspapers is dead in America). Confused
