Over the years, I see oddities about some of these later Amendments. Particularly the 13th Amendment, and maybe 14th. That there were one or more posited, and at least one which actually became law, but which is never talked about anymore. And it really shouldn't be that controversial. It either is historical fact or it is not. Here is some of the text which anyone can find now online,

If any citizen of the United States shall accept, claim, receive, or retain
any title of nobility or honor, or shall, without the consent of congress,
accept and retain any present, pension, office, or emolument of any kind
whatever, from any emperor, king, prince, or foreign power, such person shall
cease to be a citizen of the United States, and shall be incapable of holding
any office of trust or profit under them, or either of them.
