Civil War Photos - Then and Now

Excellent website! I especially enjoyed the Arlington House photos. While visiting there last summer, I was told by our guide the house is 80% original. The Union soldiers did not vandalize the house, as they might have, since they occupied it for their personal use, which explains why most of the house is still original. Standing on the front porch was an amazing feeling; I kept thinking about the Union soldiers who once flooded those grounds, much like the photo shown in the website you posted.
