Hi people, my name's Peter and I'm new here, so please be patient with me.

I am not sure if there is a policy on Senator Jeff Davis here (is calling him a president blasphemous? If so, do tell), but he came to mind when the beard-without-mustache was mentioned. He sported a somewhat strange-looking bear underneath his chin and had no mustache. Thoreau is another such example that comes to mind. So even if Davis is not another president with facial hair, these two men illustrate that the sole beard was not unique to Lincoln.
