RE: The Madman and the Assassin
Laurie, one of our newest forum members, Lance Hagman, writes:
"My interest in Boston Corbett literally hits home! According to stories, he was the game hunter for a logging camp 4 miles east of Hinckley on the east side of the Kettle River. That is exactly where my home and 40 acres are. I had my land logged in 2006 and discovered what appears to be an old road and there is a rectangular rock pile along it. I am assuming an old building site. In the past I have found an old spittoon and buckets. I would like to think he hunted on my land and may have very well died near by!" |
