Thanks Roger, that's what I figured. I did not know who it was but I was very skeptical about it being SLG.

Else I pick out the following ones, and here's also my opinion:

"Edgar Allan Poe poses with Abraham Lincoln in Mathew Brady’s Washington, D.C. studio- February 4th, 1849" - ridiculous, as well as the "wedding day photograph of Abraham and Mary taken November 4, 1842 in Springfield".

Also Diane T. Putney has pretty well established that "the alley behind Ford's Theater, taken in 1865" was taken 1894 or later:

May I ask a technical question - is it anyhow possible to view this (Printerest pages in general) without that this ad (advertising to download/open the app) covering almost half of the screen?

This is so annoying about Printerest, and I have no storage space for another app nor do I want it. But I haven't yet found a way to click it away. Thanks for any help!

Eva, I wish I could help you regarding pintrist but I know absolutely nothing about it. Other than I have friends that are on it and love it. You're right about the site I linked to. It is scary. And we wonder why there is so much incorrect history out there. Someone posts it, the next person comes along and passes it on without evaluating whether it is represented correctly or not...then it spreads through social media. The same "photos" as you identified grabbed my attention.
