And he rests in the most beautiful, peaceful, hidden, quaint place!!! Of all cemeteries I've seen this was the one where I instantly thought like Abraham Lincoln (to which the climate and vegetation sure contributed) when, while at City Point in 1865, he drove one day with Mary along the banks of the James River and they passed a country graveyard which Mary described as a "retired place...shaded by trees...so attractive and quiet that we stopped the carriage and walked through it*", and he said: "Mary, you are younger than I, you will survive me. When I'm gone, lay my remains in some quiet place like this." (*Thanks God no cars disturb the solemn atmosphere in little Genova Cemetery! I haven't been at Oak Ridge Cemetery yet, but I know for sure I personally like Genova better, and I also assume it would have matched Lincoln's idea behind the wish he expressed.
   
Was this another premonition - so shortly before his death?
