The flip side to all this - how many would have died if he had done nothing? He was able to save over 200 lives.

Did he do the best he could, with the limited knowledge, resources and time he had available?
I think so. And under the circumstances, he probably did a pretty good job.
So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?
