Now I'm really confused about the flag in question. So I decided to go to the ultimate authority - Wikipedia

Does anyone want to attempt in 100 words or less (less is preferred) what the Confederate Battle Flag is suppose to represent politically and socially? (and remember, Ms. Verge will be grading your papers at the end of class) bonus question - what's the difference (in purpose and symbolism) between the Confederate Battle Flag and the National Flag of the Confederacy? So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in? |
