Well, Miss Paige, a total of 24,645 men were killed, wounded or went missing during the 4 day battle of Stones River (or the Second Battle of Murfreesboro). Going by percentages, it was one of the bloodiest battles of the war. To me Miss Paige, they were all historically significant.
