The well-traveled Mr. Booth
I believe the attached article I found on GeneologyBank.com will definitively prove that JWB was not shot dead in Garrett's barn in April of 1865, but instead, survived to travel the world. This article appeared in The Daily Albany Argus on September 12, 1873. Seems completely credible to me.

(P.S. Hope you can open it . . . I'm not too good at this high-tech stuff.)
