Cottage Conversations returns to President Lincoln's Cottage

October 17: Richard Moe, author of Roosevelt's Second Act: The Election of 1940 and the Politics of War and former president of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, compares the presidencies of Lincoln and Roosevelt

November 21: Chris DeRose, author of Congressman Lincoln: The Making of America's Greatest President

December 5: Kenneth Winkle, author of Lincoln's Citadel: The Civil War in Washington, DC

April 24: John Taliaferro, author of All the Great Prizes: The Life of John Hay, from Lincoln to Roosevelt

May 15: Stephen Mansfied, author of Lincoln's Battle with God: A President's Struggle with Faith and What it Means for America



Guests are invited to mingle with authors at a 6:00 pm cocktail reception in the Robert H. Smith Visitor Education Center atrium. Lectures are held at 6:30 pm in the Emancipation Room of President Lincoln's Cottage, and are followed by a book signing in the library.
