Correct Roger.
Tarbell signed the contract in 1923 and hoped to get the book finished by 1925, but various things stood in her way. She finally delivered the manuscript in 1935 but it required a ton of work by series editor Arthur Schlesinger Sr., and wasn't actually published until 1936. Tarbell said it was probably her weakest book. Schlesinger had a ton of patience.
