Modern day Booth/Herold route

By and large, yes - most of the original route can be followed, either directly or with a small jaunt on either side. Right now, however, I am at a disadvantage because I am at home without a road map. I have the difficulty of having been raised in this area. I know where I'm going (most of the time), but don't remember the road names and route numbers.

I will be out of the office most of tomorrow, so Dave may have beat me to the punch by the time I can check on the names. For a recent transplant to Southern Maryland, he is well-traveled over our back roads.

One thing I can safely say is that most of the Booth action lies along Maryland Route 5 and U.S. Route 301 South. More later...
