"Stump the Yankee"
In honor of Mr. Norton's effort to create a new Lincoln assassination/Lincoln info site for us kooks that like this stuff, I thought it would be the perfect time to launch a new installment of BoothBuff trivia. Being I'm not BoothBuff on this site, we're going to call this little endeavor "Stump the Yankee"!! Ready to get going? I thought so! Let's get started.
This is a picture of President Lincoln taken by Alexander Gardner in 1865. What's in his hands and what's was he doing with it???????????????? Tonight's prize will be a small handbill from the Booth Theater in NYC announcing a performance of Edwin Booth on April 18th., 1882 as "Othello", prior to his departure for Europe. Are you smarter than a Yankee? Submit your answer and find out.
