RE: Who is this?
I'm sure I'm wrong, but is it a young Jack Lincoln?

RE: Who is this?
I'm (almost) sure that I've seen it most days for the last 6 months on the front of some website.

RE: Who is this?
I'm going to vote the same as Rob. Pretty sure that it's Robert's son.

RE: Who is this?
Wow, I blurred the picture slightly, skewed it a little, and cropped it out of a larger photo, but Rob and Laurie got it right. Excellent! Yes, is it Abraham 'Jack' Lincoln II, son of Robert Lincoln. He is posing with a high wheeled bike known as a penny-farthing in the 1880s.

RE: Who is this?
I would guess the bicycle is a photographers prop?
Somehow I can't quite picture Robert Lincoln running along side helping Jack learn how to ride that thing.

So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?

RE: Who is this?
That could be, Gene, but the Republic magazine was quoted as saying (with regard to Robert's children), "The second is a boy named Abraham, about eight years old, who rides a bicycle like a professional in company with the sons of President Garfield and Attorney General [I. Wayne] MacVeagh." Both the boulder at the left and the backdrop are studio props.

RE: Who is this?
The male in this photo was one of the most important people in Lincoln's life. This photo was taken when the gentleman was older. Who is he?

I can see a bit of a resemblance, Roger, but it isn't him either.

RE: Who is this?
I'd like to think it was Benjamin Austin Gollaher, but I dont see much resemblance to the other photos Ive seen of him ... I guess it could be him.

RE: Who is this?
Sorry Mike, but it's not Gollaher.

Clue: This man was one of Herndon's informants.
