[RJNorton]

Grenville Dodge?

[AussieMick]

You got it Roger, well done.
Next clue was to do with a loan to someone.

The image's background and your clue about pointing made me think it was possibly Grenville Dodge.

[RJNorton]

Without using Google, who is this man?

[Eva Elisabeth]

Lincoln's barber, William de Fleurville

[RJNorton]

Oh my - that was quick!! Kudos, Eva!!!

Thanks Gene. Lincoln would have enjoyed this.

One of the men included in several of the Abraham Lincoln deathbed illustrations also visited Mary Lincoln when she was confined at Bellevue Place in 1875. I am not referring to Robert Lincoln. What was this gentleman's name?

[Eva Elisabeth]

James Bradwell?

[Anita]

I second Eva!

[RJNorton]

Nope, it's not James Bradwell.

[Rogerm]

Supreme Court Judge Davis, Abraham Lincoln's friend from Illinois.

[RJNorton]

Nope, it wasn't Judge Davis.

All guesses so far are very logical, but according to my sources, none of them were at Lincoln's side as he passed away at the Petersen House.

[Anita]

Mary's brother in-law Ninian W. Edwards?
