Car Smashes Into Lincoln's Great Grandfathers Home
https://www.zenger.news/2021/07/19/nuts-...amily-home
I'm surprised the zoning board let Samuel Lincoln build his home so close to the street. Plus the owners should be fined for letting their grass get to tall. Good to know the homowners plan to higher a team of specialist to repair the sign that was knocked off the home. And I'm glad the reporter let us know the cost new of the 7 year old vehicle involved in the accident. A little bondo can fix those dents right up. This whole thing seems a bit squirrely to me. So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in? |

Gene, your post reminded me of when Rick Smith sent photos of the Thomas Harbin House in Piscataway, MD. (close to the street)

RE: Car Smashes Into Lincoln's Great Grandfathers Home
Thanks for your post Gene. I hope the driver had insurance
This Samuel Lincoln historic home built in 1721 is a bit more substantial and its historic marker is far less vulnerable. Take a look! "There are a few well-known houses in town that are recognized as being iconically "Hingham." The 1700s "Samuel Lincoln House" is certainly one of them and is your opportunity to add your memories to over three centuries of history. Situated right in town, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the harbor, this stunning home has historic charm with every modern convenience you can imagine. The gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream for family gatherings, holidays and celebrations. To us, it seems like the perfect home for year-round entertaining so if you are the lucky buyer, we want to be on your invite list!" https://www.hinghamanchor.com/featured-l...r-1850000/ |
