Prince Harry is 'mistaken for a Christmas tree SALESMAN by a little boy
Blending in! Prince Harry is 'mistaken for a Christmas tree SALESMAN by a little boy in a parking lot holiday store' while he and Meghan were shopping for decor for their $14M home.
The mixup is said to have occurred on Tuesday when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were looking for a tree for their mansion in Montecito, California. According to James Almaguer, who works at the tree lot, the couple arranged to have the shop cleared, but another family was still inside when they arrived. The employee shared on Twitter that the family's 'stoked little son ran through trees up to Harry and asked if he worked here.' He added that Meghan, 39, was 'very kind' and Harry, 36, 'acted like a chill lad.' It is understood that Harry and Meghan were at Big Wave Dave’s Christmas Trees & Pumpkin Patch, a shop set up in a Macy’s parking lot in Santa Barbara. A chance meeting that the little boy and his family will tell for many years on.

It was a nice story for me to read, when there is so much bad news in the rest of the world.

Agree. We sure could use more of the same.

I wonder if Harry can imagine a Xmas tree seller's daily life at all.

Known as Second Subaltern Elizabeth Windsor, she donned a pair of coveralls and trained in London as a mechanic and military truck driver. The queen remains the only female member of the royal family to have entered the armed forces and is the only living head of state who served in World War II. Prince Harry served in the Army for ten years, rising to the rank of Captain and undertaking two tours of Afghanistan. He continues to work in support of his fellow servicemen, promoting support for wounded men and women as they adapt to life post-injury. I would imagine that the former Prince of England could get it figured out. "So very difficult a matter is it to trace and find out the truth of anything by history." -- Plutarch |

I have uttermost respect for the Queen and her sense of duty. I knew she was trained as a car mechanic.
I don't think Harry can 100% imagine life without a luxurious financial background (which a Xmas tree seller likely doesn't have, and likely the latter can't imagine to possess a 14M $ home and jet-set life). |

I truly doubt Prince Harry had a "jet-set life" in Afghanistan. If he had wanted to avoid Afghanistan, he could have done so as far as I know. It was a matter of his choice. If you want to criticize people, there's at least one here in the United States that I know of that would be a very excellent choice, a five-time draft dodger who literally did live a jet-set life instead. I love reading the story about the little boy who mistook Prince Harry for a Christmas tree salesperson. It would make a great title for a Hallmark movie!!! I have the feeling that Prince Harry is learning to fit right in with his new American way of life.
