I must have been sleeping during 2016, but I have no recollection of a new book that appeared on the scene that year. I just stumbled upon Into The Abyss: The Assassination of Abraham Lincoln by Kate R. Gillett. It just arrived yesterday, but the back cover comments have me intrigued.
One of the comments claims that six conspirators were hanged. Have we been missing something all these years? The author's name is not familiar to me, but she includes an Epilogue chapter that gives a brief summary of Surratt House Museum and the James O. Hall Research Center, so she either visited or googled our website.

I noticed that too. Most of the Google entries are the usual booksellers pushing the product with no reviews and virtually nothing about Ms. Gillett.
I didn't look at much of her book on Amazon, but I did see that she mentioned four nooses, so perhaps the mistake on the back cover didn't make it into the book. I hope not.
