Rare Civil War Era Shipwreck Discovered?
I wish the source for the article was something other than the Huffington Post
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/civi...26?ref=yfp they link to this article http://www.ncdcr.gov/press-release/signi...d-nc-coast So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in? |

This is for real. I live in NC, and it's actually in the area of Fort Fisher and its near the mouth of the Cape Fear river. The other fort mentioned was part of the Fort Fisher defense system during the War.
The mouth of the Cape Fear is huge-nearly 2 miles across. I can just see the blockade runners trying to sneak out on a foggy night |

RE: Rare Civil War Era Shipwreck Discovered?
You reminded me of the English folk song "Roll Alabama, Roll"
There are three different versions of the song the traditional English version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSoG216dTnY the more modern (and upbeat) English version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fXHSRx3M5o the American Folk version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Qi1KQi1jjE They are all quite interesting (Each has its own charm) So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in? |
