I think this writer has an agenda but does not have any evidence that JWB had unrequited love for Lincoln. Tom |

RE: Clarence Tripp
I bet the author's "gaydar" would positively sense something and be deflected for everyone he wants it to do because it's the most important in his world and life. IMO authors like Mr. Kramer abuse historic figures for their purposes and interests. Perhaps he needs to seek and "farfetch" illustrious companionship to come to terms with himself?

RE: Clarence Tripp
Is the Daily Mail, Britain's version of the National Enquirer, only without the class?
So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in? |

RE: Clarence Tripp
Gene, we learned this in school:
"The only way to understand the Press is to remember that they pander to their readers' prejudices... The Daily Mirror is read by people who think they run the country; The Guardian is read by people who think they ought to run the country; The Times is read by people who actually do run the country; the Daily Mail is read by the wives of the people who run the country; the Financial Times is read by people who own the country; The Morning Star is read by people who think the country ought to be run by another country; and The Daily Telegraph is read by people who think it is. ...What about the people who read The Sun? Sun readers don't care who runs the country, as long as she's got big ****." It's actually from "A Conflict of Interest", the twelfth episode of the BBC comedy series "Yes, Prime Minister" (1987). http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Conflict_of_Interest |

RE: Clarence Tripp
Thanks Eva, I rember that TV show from years ago.
Now that I'm a little older, I appreciate the humor more. So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in? |
