Let's Be Creative
I now have maintenance men at Surratt House interested in history! One of them referred me to this website: http://www.ushistory.org/
If you look on the right-hand side, they are soliciting a contest for catchy headlines. Let's see how creative you are with historical headlines. My first attempt was: NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., April 15, 1865. Crazed Actor Takes Shot In The Dark. I put this under "Other" so that other events in history could be used also. |
