Betty, you don't have to join other than to create a youtube (free) account. Apparently youtube has it flagged as "may be innappropriate for younger audiences". I can't imagine why except that it shows the Gardner pictures of the hanging.

Another way to watch this is on the National Geographic website. I agree wholeheartedly with Heath; I don't know why You Tube would "flag" this video.

Hi Mr. Hess. I really don't know. Sometimes I find it amazing what can be found on You Tube. Last week I posted a link to the entire 4 1/2 hour move Gettysburg on You Tube. I did not know one could upload a movie like that to You Tube.
