Tuesday, June 11 I will be giving my 2-hour version of "Little-Known Facts About the Lincolns and the Civil War." Part of the presentation includes 57 slides. It will be given in Eaton Rapids, Michigan to the historical society.
About 5 years ago, I had a professional agent because she liked my writing style. She had me prepare a synopsis of the book I wanted to write. She personally delivered my synopsis to major publishers like Random House, etc. But they universally gave the same reply - "There are too many books already about Abraham Lincoln." She only charged a commission if she sold the work, thus I didn't pay her a dime.
