Booth diary - best birthday ever - Rhatkinson - 04-26-2013 06:42 PM

Thanks to my wife and help from Dave Taylor, I got for my birthday (not until May 12) a Booth diary from Mr. Pasquale. It. Is. Awesome.

I'm waiting for my wife, with help from Dave Taylor, to get me the original Booth diary Smile

Can't you convince the NPS to give you the keys or secret code to the showcase at Ford's that contains the diary, Jim. You are such a good volunteer there that I think they should reward you.

Well, I see Dave tomorrow! We'll have to work on it. If a cat burglar can steal the deringer and replace it with a fake one........

Shhhhh, Laurie. You're revealing my masterplan to switch out the original diary with one of Pasquale's replicas using Jim Garrett's help.

I'm glad you like it Heath. I'm expecting mine, and the Surratt's House's, this week.

Look in an abandoned trolley tunnel under Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn.

When you looked away, Jim, I snuck into the display and cut a few pages out to give to the tour group as souvenirs. I hope you don't mind.

When I was a kid, I did that to my sisters diary and got into a lot of trouble. I tried to blame it on the dog, but that didn't work......Gene C

When I was a pup, I did that to my owner's little girl's diary. I tried to blame it on her little brother.
It worked.

Fido.. ...Angel

Look underground on Mrs. Quesenberry's property.

They are probably in a jar or jug somewhere on that property... If you find them, then please come dig up the gravel parking lot at Surratt House. The guns stored at Surratt House are still supposed to be hidden there.

If you are by chance a gun owner in the state of Maryland, you may soon need to indeed, hide your guns in some place out of the reach of, not criminals, but your state government.

And our governor is considering a run for the White House.

I put my Booth diary up for display in my office today. Unfortunately, when I did I accidentally knocked my Lincoln bobblehead off the shelf and decapitated the poor man! Thank God for superglue.
