Bill I'm not familiar with Thomas Clark but he really capured Lincoln's intropective "lost in thought " expression. Thanks for posting.

His work reminds me of the smaller works of American themes done by Sebastian Miniatures of Massachusetts. My daughter collected many of these when she was young (I have them now) including several of Lincoln. They are truly miniatures, however, and range from statues of famous and regular folks as well as nostalgic scenes and famous buildings. I'm not sure that this company is even still in business. IMO, their products went downhill once they resorted to "chemical" substances that were quite obvious.

The statue I own as pictured is truly amazing in detail. Yes, he is better known probably for his gnomes. He created one of Churchill that I would like to have. Pretty expensive!

Yes, pricey! Just checked ebay. Good condition around $450. I do love it.
Are there a lot of forgeries of his work, especially the gnomes?

I don’t know about the forgeries. My Lincoln has a numbered and signed certificate of authenticity. I don’t own any other Clark pieces. But my eyes are on the Churchill!

There is a great store in NC called Replacements. I think they started out carrying pieces of china and glass that people might need to complete a set or replace a damaged piece. However, I think they have branched out into lots of other items.

I like to collect baseball cards. While I did get a Shohei Ohtani rookie card in a pack of Topps Allen and Ginter baseball today, I thought back to middle school, when I heard Abraham Lincoln was going to get his own baseball card. The Exclusive Trading Card of MLB has covered the 16th president in their Allen and Ginter baseball card set from 2006 and 2008-2011, including a strand of Honest Abe's hair that I so desperately looked for to impress a girl. Check out these cards on Topps' revamp of the Allen and Ginter cigarette company trading cards, released every July since 2006. I tried to buy a DNA Strand card from 2009 on eBay but it cost just over $1K.

I have an insert of Topps 2018 Opening Day with Team Traditions that feature the Nationals Racing Presidents and Racing Abe is on the card, so I do own a baseball card with Lincoln on it.
