Noted artist and Painter Mort Kunstler has passed away on Sunday, February 2 at the age of 97. He was widely acclaimed for his paintings of Lincoln and the Civil War. His collector plate series "Lincoln, The Man of the People" was issued in the 1980s.

After reviewing the web site for Mort Kunstler above I went to Amazon and purchased The Civil War Art of Mort Kunstler.
It's a very nice book.
