Mary Todd Lincoln House is presenting a free virtual program via Zoom on November 7, 2024 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. It features an illustrated talk about the life and career of artist and author Katherine Helm by MTLH Assistant Director Kate Hesseldenz. The niece of Mary Todd Lincoln, Katherine was an accomplished portrait painter and created six portraits of Mary. Working as a professional artist in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Katherine painted landscapes as well as portraits.

Katherine's biography of her Aunt Mary, published in 1928, will also be discussed.
