In the Houses of Their Dead by Terry Alford - Susan Higginbotham - 09-27-2022
I'm surprised that no one has mentioned this new book, which deals with the Lincolns, the Booths, and spiritualism. I read it in a couple of days and found it well-written and informative. There's quite a bit in it about figures who were associated with both families, such as Adam Badeau and actor Joe Jefferson.
