New novel about Booth - Rob Wick - 03-10-2022 02:51 PM

I know absolutely nothing about this book or the author, but I saw it in the paper, so I thought I would alert everyone.

Rob, I don't know it looks interesting based on the description. She describes it as a novel and that to me does not fortell accuracy.

I started it. Enjoying it so far (it's interesting to see a telling from Rosalie's point of view), but it definitely seems to be in the "mad Booths" tradition.

I finished this tonight. I enjoyed the author's portrayal of the Booths, especially Rosalie, Asia, and Edwin, and it's plain that the author has made good use of Dave Taylor's site (which she acknowledges). Terry Alford also gets a generous acknowledgment. Well worth a read if you (like me) enjoy historical fiction.
