Lincoln's private notes - Steve - 06-10-2021 02:12 PM

I just came across this Time article which I find fascinating:

https://time.com/6072503/president-lincoln-letter-slavery/

Especially interesting is his "inner dialogue", I guess you might call it refuting pro-slavery arguments.

I'm going to put Ronald White's new book on Lincoln's private notes on my wishlist!

Thank you for sharing this article, Steve.

Coincidentally, today I also just added this book to my (too long) shopping list, after (a recommendation, and) finally watching the interview with Ronald White at the Abraham Lincoln Book Shop from May 4th.
Cannot deny, I like the idea of color copies of some of the notes in Lincoln's own hand.
