A friend of mine gave me a children's book titled Martin and Abraham Lincoln
by Catherine Coblentz. It is about a child who meets Lincoln on the steps of the Capitol. It claims it is based on a true story. Can anyone shed anymore light on it? thanks

That's a wonderful article, Steve. Thanks for posting. IMO, the story is doubtful.

Thanks for posting that Steve.
I like to read some of the older children's books on Abraham Lincoln. I was aware of the book, just wasn't sure if I wanted to get it.
I probably will now.
