I'm signed up on Dave's sight. I agree Roger. What an excellent resource!

Thanks for highlighting my project, Roger. As I wrote in my introductory post explaining everything, I have been trying to improve my knowledge of the conspiracy trial over the past couple of years. Prior to this I never read the trial and only mined the transcripts for the relevant testimonies I needed for research. It's an incredibly intimidating resource. I'm hoping this project will help make it more accessible, though I am anxiously awaiting Michael Kauffman's book on the trial that he has been working on over the past few years. When completed, I'm sure Mike's work will completely revolutionize our understanding of the conspiracy trial. He was a great help to me while I was putting this together.

Sadly the trial starts a little slowly. The first few days of the trial deal with trying to get the conspirators legal representation. Witnesses don't begin until May 12th and the outside press is not allowed in until May 13th. I hope people will bear with me during these lean opening days of the trial.

This is a great idea Dave and could be a really excellent resource for students or researchers. When you're done you should consider allowing a University website or the Ford's Theatre website to publish a version of it so it could be more easily accessed by people not already "into" the subject to have heard of the Boothie Barn blog.

I agree with Steve.

Dave wrote "I hope people will bear with me during these lean opening days of the trial."

lean?

If he can keep up this quality I'm sure that we'll bear with him.

Nice work Dave.

While I'd love to get the support of a bigger organization like Ford's or a university, I could also understand that they may not feel comfortable hosting something like this that they did not create themselves. My hope is that, through the power of the google search gods, my project might eventually make its way up the search results for Lincoln conspiracy trial and that people who are interested will be able to find it that way. It's the best I could hope for at the moment.

I actually just learned today that Ford's Theatre has its own section on its website devoted to the trial of the conspirators: https://www.fords.org/lincolns-assassination/investigating-the-assassination/trial-of-the-conspirators/ Doesn't look like they'd have any interest in my project since they have their own.
