They say he was born in Puzzle Creek near Bostic in Rutherford County in North Carolina. They have plaques and all!

I watched the film clip regarding the claim and found it interesting but it doesn’t prove anything. I wouldn’t mind going to the museum though and digging deeper into it. Maybe someday. Thanks for posting.
