Mine would definitely be Fritz Klein. He has the accent and conveys the right emotion in the right times. I am also very impressed with the few performances I'd seen on YouTube from George Buss.
Both men said they are the most successful with youthful audiences, young children. Apparently the kids are taken into the illusion, although they know it is not the real AL in front of them, but during the presentations videos you can see how those young audiences are taken into the story.

I agree on Fritz Klein. I've also been impressed by several others including the late James Getty. There is a 45 second video from James Getty's funeral in Gettysburg here:

Didn't know him. So he was buried in Gettysburg followed by his friends of Civil War reanactment. Beautiful.

There's also one Lance whom I watched on YouTube. He's very funny and quite accurate.
