Quick (?) easy (?) question - AussieMick - 12-02-2019 The Weekend Australian has quite a good Quiz. This week it included ... "Which two American Presidents were in the White House 10 years after they were first elected?" You should be able to get one straight away ... but the other? (I couldnt get either but then I'm not a US citizen) RE: Quick (?) easy (?) question - RJNorton - 12-02-2019 Franklin Roosevelt and Grover Cleveland? RE: Quick (?) easy (?) question - AussieMick - 12-02-2019 Yes, Roger ... well done. FDR won 4 times. Cleveland had 2 non-consecutive terms. RE: Quick (?) easy (?) question - RJNorton - 12-02-2019 That was an interesting question, Michael. I would have used it as a trivia question in class (before I retired from teaching) if I had ever thought of it in the way it was worded. RE: Quick (?) easy (?) question - LincolnMan - 12-02-2019 Yes, great question! I knew FDR but not GC. RE: Quick (?) easy (?) question - Susan Higginbotham - 12-02-2019 I knew someone had had non-consecutive terms but couldn't remember who. Great question! |
