I actually like the idea of a pyramid. It would also fit well with the Washington Monument motif.

I like the Greek Temple concept for this reason.
"The commission and Congress ultimately agreed to upgrade the Potomac Park site and approved architect Bacon's proposal to build a huge, neoclassical Greek Doric temple. The temple was based on the Parthenon in Athens. I have no problem with the one that was chosen. I’m just saying I like the idea of the pyramid for reasons stated.
