Help - mike86002000 - 01-13-2019 01:42 PM

I wonder if anyone could help me find the title of a book I think was written by Molly Queen, one of Dr. Queen's daughters, and verify she was the author. It's about life in Southern Maryland, in the late 1800's, and contains prints of her watercolors. The copy I read appeared to be a reprint, probably from the late 1900's.
Mike

Do you remember some more details about the book that might make it easier to find? Molly's married name was Jameson and her Find A Grave page has an obituary as well as link to some of her children's memorial pages:

Hopefully, some of this will help you locate the book you're thinking of.

Thank you, Steve. The obituary is especially helpful with all those names, many of which I heard my mother and grandmother speak of. The gentleman who contacted me thinks he may have seen it at the Dr. Mudd House, so I have a note into them and will jog the Southern Maryland Studies Center again. Frankly, I'm surprised if they don't have a copy of the book. The gentleman seeking it says that it has a number of drawings relative to Southern Maryland as well as text.
